Cabal NA closing down

To the Cabal Online Community,

In early 2008, we launched what we had hoped would be a great MMORPG that would become a great addition to our line-up of high-quality free-to-play games. We truly felt that a game like Cabal Online would offer something different and unique for our loyal OGPlanet members, and in many ways, we believe it has. While we had hoped to continue operating the game as part of our services,the game’s developers, EST Soft, has unfortunately decided not to extend our contract for Cabal Online.

So it is with regret that we must announce that Cabal Online will end live service on March 31, 2010.Starting from today, March 19, 2010, players will no longer be able to purchase any Astro items from the item shop. We can assure you that we are doing everything we can to compensate our loyal players and we promise to provide full support until the game is officially closed.

We thank you for your loyal support and encourage you to stay tuned for more information on what sort of benefits we will be offering Cabal Online players.

I'm not surprised, I've never thought of OGPlanet as professional by any means.

Just noticed when you go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] & choose North America, it pops a message "To be Announced". Seems they will just lease to someone else, it would be interesting to know who though..

The wording makes it sound like there was some confrontation, & they don't believe they will uphold the contract terms.

since it gets managed by est itself now, does this mean they probably get updates before eu cabal does?

Yep,+ they got a faster bug report system,all reports go directly to them,unlike EU which has GM.co->Est.

I like how they changed the wording of the announcement..

I guess alot of people destroyed their +7-12 items before seeing the next announcement xD

What i dont understand. Is will OGplanet give all the character database to ESTsoft? or r they just going to delete it? that would cause a huge sufferage. Benefits both side of this argument.

OMFG you ppl care to read a bit ?
OGplanet transfering accounts to estsoft,it will be a matter of 2-3 weeks when you'll be able to play again on your accounts.
