Main Banned

So today I logged on and my main was banned. The problem is I haven't played the game in like a week and when I checked a few days ago, I was shadowbanned out of nowhere. Today when I checked, it was perm banned. I always played extra legit on this account. It sucks because this account had Damascus unlocked and I had spent a few bucks on bundles, but oh well... we all know the risks. I blame myself for this ban because every time an account got banned perm banned on my PC I never bothered using a spoofer, I just waited out the shadowban to lift on new accounts and played. This was probably a ban related to other accounts, somehow they linked those to my main (I'm probably HWID flagged or even banned at this point) This ban was not because of a cheat detection I am 100% sure of that.

My question is, is there a way to get the account unbanned? The account isn't mine it was actually a friend's that stopped playing the game. Can a ban appeal work if they contact Activision and say the account was hacked or something?

Idk... but oh well... I'm probably just gonna buy new accounts and the new Vanguard even though I despise Activision Blizzard even more than I did at this point, but I just can't stop playing this game goddamit!

No your account is gone forever. Only extremely popular streamers are allowed to cheat in this game, such as biffle or z

If it was your friends he can say it got hacked for sure

Ban appeals do work, however they take months to resolve, are often ignored, and require a difference in HWID as well as IP. So, without those, the chance of being unbanned are extremely low.

Should I try my chance or just not even bother? I'll tell my buddy to do it since it's his account anyway. (He's a console player)

Happened to me, forget about it and look at the bright side - vanguard will take over and all mw/cw guns will be useless in a couple of weeks

Yeah you're probably right, knowing Activision, they most likely gonna milk the shit out of Vanguard weapons while the MW and CW ones will be left dry.

If it were me, I wouldn't even bother.
Out of over 100 accounts banned, I've only ever had 2 unbanned.

Good luck. I tried multiple times. No response

Looks like the chances are slim, but I will tell my friend to give it a try, maybe it'll work who knows. Thanks for the info guys.

--------------Solution 1

Doesn't hurt to try, but unless you connected from a different IP (maybe isp changed yours in meantime) it'll be hard to prove.

You can request your ISPs historical ips and make the request that way.

Hey someone connected with this IP, when I've had this one for example. YMMV

--------------Solution 2
Create a fake email that looks very close to a popular streamers. Set that email on the banned account. Then contact support with a very cocky message:

"Hey! I thought I was whitelisted?! Why did I get a permaban".

Please respond back if it works lol

Haha, the second solution cracked me up, it's probably a bad idea Those guys have direct access to Activision representatives and have it easy. Solution one makes sense, my ISP provides Dynamic IPs and is usually reset daily to new ones. But the problem is, this account is originally my friend's, and we live in the same country same city nearly the same region lol, so it's highly unlikely for them to fall for it.
