hwid ban

Hi, i got banned, now i used an account, it got sb after 2 games then after 4 hours permabanned.
Can you tell me the steps that have to do to play again?

How long did it take before they hit you with a HWID ban?

We should start asking everyone who comes here saying they are HWID banned this question, as I am curious how long it takes them to pull the trigger on this.

Here's a data point on my end:

Asked for an appeal and got this canned response,

"Hello XXXX,

Your appeal has been reviewed and we've confirmed with our security team that your account has been permanently banned for using unauthorized software and manipulation of game data. As you were the account holder at the time of infraction, your ban will not be overturned.

To preserve the integrity of our security systems and detection methods, this is the only information our policy allows us to share regarding your case. This decision is final and your case is now closed. In case you are currently playing any other Activision titles and for future reference, please avoid any of these types of violations to keep your account in good standing.

Activision Support"

The thing is, they already banned my secondary which i used on another machine. The primary got banned which i strictly used on a new machine that never had any cheese on it. So they're definitely over-banning or ip banning. In any case, this is a really good gift because this is the final nail in the coffin for me. I'm officially out of this crappy game and already making better use of my time.

You mean cause the ban doesn't apply to say Cold War or upcoming Vanguard?

Permaban on my main for WZ on a machine/account i never ran cheese on.

Hey man, that's definitely the glass half full way of looking at it.

But being banned on an account you never cheated on on a completely new PC is still scary lol.

Just goes to show Activision's incompetence. If they were confident in their tooling they wouldn't cast such wide nets and get false positives.

So there is no way to ask them anything anymore, your whole case is "finished"

Did you ever actually talk to a human being once during emails or this entire process was automated?

Heck no it's activision.

I have an account they "corrupted" that they haven't fixed for 1.5 years.

They absolutely are toxic as a company and thieves.

They deserve all the cheats/hacks coming their way.

activision support is trash. I contacted them like 10 times - no answer
