So I'm on a Laptop - Can I even spoof AT ALL?

Does INF support Laptops? - been doing a LOT of research about spoofers/spoofing lately and it seems like Laptops are a finicky part of it. Some work, some don't.

I don't have an HP, Dell or Alienware which are the ones I see not being supported the most.

But do some spoofers NEVER work on laptops or?

Fill me in guys!

You'll have to reach out to the devs of the spoofers and see if they work on laptops. Like you said, some work some don't. It's because some laptops have a locked bios I believe, which makes it impossible to change hwid serials and smbios.

Thanks for the reply. I'll do that, or I will try to at least lol.

It seems like it would make a lot of sense for INF/others to literally list what Laptops are KNOWN to NOT work...I never see pages like that, just people mentioning that Dells, HPs, and Alienwares don't work.

Also the more I read, apparently some pre-built desktop PCs can't even spoof - this is all very interesting stuff.

I used an Alienware 17 R5 for a long time and spoofers worked fine on it

Interesting, I guess it's not a be all end all rule, I just see a lot of spoofer heads talking bout they don't work on HP, Dells, Lenovo or Alienwares.

INFINITE works on newer laptops.
