Going through the dungeons one by one, without finishing the missions, all the way up to Thanatos, will also get you to level 30.

No exp gained from mobs right? Just levels from quest?

No. The sole purpose of this is speed levelling.

This will just change the room for level 1 characters. You would still have to run the dungeon to gain exp.
