If you can't tell it works,
1. You already have low stats and are playing in bot lobbys.
or
2. You are the bot in the lobby

VPN does not disable SBMM. It only connects you to servers closest to the country your VPN is set to.

If you are in Asia (PH,SG,MY,ID,CN), lobbies are either extremely sweaty or full of cheaters even in easy lobbies. So using VPN to connect to like other regions will probably get you easier lobby/rare any cheaters however the tradeoff is you have to deal with 200-250ms ping.

I know this because I have friends in USA so being in asia, ill join their lobby and connect to USA and its totally different. I rare come across any cheaters and players are more casual but I have to deal with high ping

I VPN'd to Brazil once, raged out, no one in the death comms said anything remotely close to Spanish or Portuguese

Do people with chairs actually try to avoid sbmm  like bruh, how bad are u at the game lmao

yeah no lag works from time to time, some lobbys are super low average kd like 0.7 and some are like normal lobbys, also depends on the gamemode

IMO No Lag VPN did nothing but suck money from my paypal tbh. Afaik at best it can "break" the sbmm so a bunch of randoms make it into a server.

idk it does work for me alot of times, but sometimes i have 3 games in a row that are normal games, stats wise, and then i get like 3 games with 0.8 average

without vpn

Bro fr, wish I could enter Diamond lobbies on purpose.

Edit: As far as OP question:

I use a VPN on and off and I feel like it does nothing. I've VPN'd to parts of the world where you shouldn't be hearing perfect English with American slang on the hot mic/death comms, yet here I am.

Using a VPN, you change your in-game location, switching to an low-populated area (New-Zealand / Hawaii / Egypt...) but not your IP.

If you play from a low populated area, you have a less-strict SBMM / No-SBMM.

Keep in mind that

1/ You will still end up in a game server nearby you (hence having a great ping), playing on your regular IP
2/ You won't play against Egyptian or Indian people
3/ Only your in-game location changes, not your IP

Meaning: If you are from NA, you will end up playing mostly against random NA players

no lag vpn ^^

So outside of like a NETduma, there is no way to change this with regular VPNs?

Cause this is what I experienced, using a regular VPN I VPN'd to Foreign countries and it's obvious my opponents were still NA'ers.
