Say, if someone were to cheat in Warzone or Cold War on their battle.net account, would the game or Activision part of the account be banned, or the entire battle.net with World of Warcraft and all?
Just the game. You would still have access to your Bnet and other games. Also your Activision account would still be good. You will still be able to log in it on your computer and other games, its just Warzone and Cold War will be bannedQuote:

Thanks guys! Just eager not to get a 15 year old original WoW-account banned.Quote:
The entire battle launcher gets banned for the game you’ve cheated in.
They ban the ID of the launcher and the Activision account.
You can still use the battle launcher for other games, but you can’t unlink an acti account and add a new one.
What if you were banned and you managed to unlink the banned bnet acc from the activision acc. Would you theoretically be able to link a new Bnet and keep playing?Quote:

I don't think it would be possible tbh, I tried something along those lines. After I was banned, I requested Bnet to delete my account and after they deleted my account, even when I logged into my Activision account it was still showing that account linked even though it was a deleted Bnet and if you try to unlink while your account is banned all you get is an enforcement popup.Quote:

I've never seen someone be able to link a new account after being banned, but by the way the ban system works, I'd assume it would immediately ban the new account as it logs the battle ID.Quote:
