Well, it's been a while since I played. A long while. And I decided to come back for a time, and as usual, tried botting for most of the day to just test the waters. You know, how much uri/palla I make a day, how many times do I get killed, etc. . So anyways I had no problem most of the time, expect... I came back in after about 12 hours of botting. [Bot was set to give a break for an hour every 3 hours. So effectively, bot ran for about 9 hours. Also I'm still unsure about the time period because I obviously slept and did other stuff so it can be more or less but it's around that.]
When I came the bot was collecting bonus boxes, everything was good until my ship started glowing yellow and I was getting warnings at the top of the screen. So I immediately closed the bot and opened the game itself. And what awaited me was a verification. I don't know if anybody have encountered it but it basically told me to collect the black boxes and leave the red ones. And repeat for a few times. After that it let me go and everything was fine encountered nothing similar again.
Not yet at least. But that really shook me good. I don't know for how long it was around, but it was the first time I've seen it. I'm kinda worried now that, I might be "under watch" or something like that, now I've been detected with some sort of activity, since it obviously said we've detected malicious activity and such.
So I think I will actually refrain for a while. That really made me appreciate Bigpoint, like this is the only time I've ever encountered a problem with botting, in years. Like when I played non-stop I figured nobody was getting banned so I would bot everyday and I played like that for years lol. But all that aside, that made me worried about the botting stuff. I've been continuosly seeing players getting banned in chat. That was the usual, of course. But man did they increase. It's like half of the server got banned in a few days.
Sorry for keeping it long I guess but does anyone else encountered it? Any ways to avoid it? Can we get on a watch list of some sort? You know, those ones where you kind of get on a suspicious list and get more attention compared to others and if malicious activity is confirmed, you get banned sorta stuff. Basically these are my questions. It's nice to be back. I wonder how things are going. Have a good day.
