Where to find Item IDs?

Hi All,
maybe anyone of you could help me a bit,
i've tried to get item ids out of the itemtype.dat
but i cant figure out...

there is an editor for itemtype.dat made by unknownone...u load your itemtype.dat in it...i believe it shows the id of the item in the program..there will be a screenshot of it..so use the search button for more info
