16 clients max?

I been using 30-35 clients in the past. Just recently I can only open 16 clients. After 16th clients, when I try to open a 17th one, it auto close. Sometimes cant even get play.exe to open at all, click on it and nothing happen.

Did TQ patch this to stop the lanshop excuse? Cant open more than 16. And its not my comp.... Been doing 30 to 35 without lag.

Anyone else have this problem? :?

Wow..35 clients X.X
Well, if it dun works maybe they have patched it to 16, but why just 16?
Why not 2 as it was supposed to.

@ azeazezar: How long ago is that "a while"? I havent been running that many clients for the past 1 to 2 months... Been busy with studying and stuffs. But now Im starting to plvl, sell, and mine again, gonna need at least 30 clients. SO, I think it was within these past 1 to 2 months that they changed the max to 16.

@ tsu :Why limit to 16 instead of 2?
Like I said before, people made excuses like lanshop or internet cafe.
Maybe they limit it to 16 clients per IP? I donno, havent test yet. Ill hook up my other comp and try later.

@ angelbear: What updating my graphic driver got anything to do with this? I ran 30-35 clients before. But just to let u know, I do have the latest driver.

What kind of a PC Im running?
AMD 4600+ DUAL Core 64 bits
XFX GForce 7800 GTX
2 to 4 Gig of DDR 4000, 4 Gig if my other comp not running.

But yeah, I dont experience that much lag even with 35 clients running.

So it wasnt my comp after all... Made me felt like i screw up my comp and now it cant handle more than 16. ROFL

Anyone found a way to get around this?

Lethal Bunny.. U're running 17??? Did u use the new 2.0 client or u upgrade from 1.0 to 2.0?

I used to run 35 clients with only about 60% CPU usage, and had over over 1 Gig of memory left. That's with a bunch of other programs in the background as well. Weird, maybe Ill try to reinstall CO.

im using upgraded from 1.0 to 2.0

@Lethal Bunny
Did u just open those clients without logging in? Or did you actually log in all 17 accounts?
Cause sometimes it let u open more than 16... but once u log the 17th char in, the client automatically close, and u're back with 16 clients again. ROFL

@ Con TImBangGia

Lethal,
You said you can do 32 with 2 computers? So that means it's not limited by IP. It has to be something else.

BTW, what kinda prog you using for all your clients? cotobo? if so, how are you reconnecting them all automatically?

DOnt Think he test it with 2 comps... He got 16 on one comp and assumed that with another comp, hell get 32.

At this point, no one has really tested it yet... So, it could either be the client or server check for IP.

never tested i assumed like he said
