To The Guardians And People Of This Section

ok guys i know that as you can see we do have a new guardian. Ibeatuall. I also know he isnt well liked because of his escapades he has done in the past. Which does lead to quite a bit of tension in the air.

Let me clarify exactly what a guardian is suspose to do. They are suspose to make my job of policing the forums easier. However just as i was told at one time by the peple who are higher up than me, it does not mean you have to report every little post.

There are times when just letting some things slide is the better choice. I mean seriously if i warned, infracted, and or deleted every post that "deserved it" quite a few members would be gone, and the threads would be empty. I do believe in enforcing the rules but i admit i take it one day at a time. saves you stress.

Now however this does not mean that you can go off half cocked and start cursing and such at the guardians. You may not like them and you may have issues with them. But at least try to give them some respect. Aruther has been a big help for me since he has come abord. I can actually go a day or two with my life and school and not have to worry over much.

Remember most of you either have me on MsN or can private message me on here if you have an issue with someone. Or if i am not available you can go here [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and post a complaint.

Basically the main point of that whole ramble is can we please try to get along. pwease!!!

I am willing to give some people some slack, people make mistakes, it's human nature, and i agree that if we went around reporting every little post it would severely affect the number of members who visit this section.

I agree that i am not very well liked as i used to flame any and everyone on my previous account(s).

Talk - talk, but do the walk.

I have nothing against you, but u are the one who does reporting on every little thing. Check the post that you made replys on. Example = Instead of doing + reported on every double post ( not using edit button), you can warn the member first.

I agree, sounds like good advice to me.

In this thread please feel free to post what you feel we could do to improve ourselves. This includes me as well not just the guardians. However if this turns into a flame fest believe it will be closed and people will be infracted

I think we all need to just mellow down a little as we settle into things. It wasn't too long ago where we had zero guardians in this section now in the course of a few months we have two. I admit that I myself was a little trigger happy at first myself and didn't even realize it too much until I started posting what I was reporting people for in the thread.

Lastly, remember that Guardians have no actual power. Being reported is not the end of the world, and unless a moderator sees fit to do so you may not even get a warning on your account or in a PM.

But other then that , I agree with you. I think deadpool made this topic for them , not for us really.

I have been a moderator and it is not nearly as easy as it looks. Checking each new post and thread is time consuming. It is not trigger happy when you see the same people breaking the same rules over and over. Every forum no matter how large or small has its trouble makers and people that just do not read the rules. I think this forum is kept in good shape for it being a large forum. I think everyone is doing a great job. This is includes the Mods and Guardians. The majority of the members do a good job of sticking to the rules. Please do not be harsh if the Guardians seem trigger happy. It is just frustrating to warn people over and over about the rules when they should already be aware. Most just do not care though they know they are in the wrong.

ya i agree lol i only started using forums like 4 or 5 months ago I'm still a forum noob I'm learning but it gets annoying when i make a mistake and get like 2 reports. like when i posted FromTheAshes. i couldn't delete my old post and since i took the advice i was givin i though a fresh post was needed to clear some things up.

First of all I would like to say congrats to ibeatuall, I believe he will make a great asset to deadpool. As well a great asset to the forums. Good luck man. =)
