Requesting Mentor

Hey everyone, I really don't know if this is the right place to post it.
I'm sorry! But I am looking for a GREAT Photoshopist, someone who will be willing to teach me the ropes, and help me get advanced, and really teach me. I always loved Photoshop, but i always have been an amateur.

I'd like to be your "class mate" if you are going to get any teacher. I might learn some new techniques and styles. :awesome:

As already stated in another (German) thread I currently don't have the time for stuff like that. I strongly recommend just doing tutorials, more tutorials and when finished with that, just try some tutorials :P
That's actually the way I learned to use Photoshop.

You might want to look for a "real" gfx-forum to post your works at as the users there often can give you much better critic then you will receive here.

All I can offer atm is trying to give detailed comments on your works or maybe show you some simple tricks. If you send me your .psd files I could just look through what you did and give some feedback and maybe add some improvements to it.

Some years ago I tried to watch a "teacher" working with Photoshop via AIM/Teamviewer and I learned nearly nothing. He was way to fast for me and every time I asked something he was disrupted in his workflow and didn't get a decent result.

You could also try to bring CnC back to our presentation-thread but there aren't that many active, good artists here so again, you should move to a gfx-only-forum.

Well the issue is that I don't have any Photoshop skills.
I understand how to use the basic tools , but that's the extent of my skills.
I don't know where to being.. And what to do. That Is why I need up find a mentor.
Someone who could not only show me the ropes... But really be a teacher.. Testing my ability. And actually making sure I understand what they are tell me. I'll do anything to did a teacher... I can't offer any real money.. But I do have 40 elite*gold.. That's my only offer I can give anyone :))

And if you wouldn't mind telling me some good forum where I could go and ask for a forum.. Maybe through a pm or add my msn.. I don't want you to be breaking the rules haha :))

I think it's not allowed to post other forums which don't have any backlinks to e*pvp. But just google for "gfx forum" and you will find a lot of good pages. :)
