Getting Skin of Shadows solo

This branches off of KatistrofiK's solo Ras post. I'm a horde shadow priest. I do the same as him, but go to luccia's room, it's easy to clear cuz i can shackle and all that. when i get to Llucia i run up to her, pop barov trinket, the mobs grab her aggro long enough to loot the skin after words i die. You can do this all with no durability loss if you get naked before you clear hte room and after. You can get about 5 skins an hour this way, and it's a hell of alot easier than finding a group who DOESN'T need them.
Please keep this one quiet... it has the potential to make you thousands through shifting cloaks or easy zg enchants. Either way it's important this is kept secret.

tried this in 1.9.3 and it still works.
also im a disc/holy priest with none of my gear being damage gear and i was able to do this no problem.
just as long as you only pull 1 or 2 of the mobs when clearing to the SoS. if you pull two just shackle otherwise if you pull one just stand away from them when they do the consuming shadows and MB/Smite/Wand them. if they start using life tap or whatever just shackle em to stop it. i had no problem at all killing one solo. and with the two of them i just wanded them as much as possible so i could keep my mana up in case the second one got harder.

also i didnt have the barov trinket or anything to divert her attention so all i did was wand her from as far as i could then i ran out of her room, up the stairs and around to the other side of the stairs, then jumped down and ran into her room. i had more than enough time by the time she reached me to open the SoS and loot it.

just jump down and die next to the door.
then before you release log out
right before you log out at ONE SECOND hit release.
then log back in and just walk past the door and hit ok to res

the timing is tough.
if i hit release right when the 2 ticks to 1 i wont log out and ill just release
if i hit it too late, well its too late ive already started logging out
i just wait right for it to tick to 1 than the next instant and ive been able to get it down so i can get it most of the time. just takes practice.

Awsome!

I gave it some tries, and here's what happened:

After a successful logout, I logged back in, but instead of returning to Scholomance I spawned high above Alterac Mountain! And fell near that Sphere in Dalaran.

And - all of Scholomances Mobs felt there with me!!

So now I accept ressurection in the hills of Dalaran, and all that 60+ elites stand there in the landscape. Looks nice.

Unfortunatelly they aren't really there, nor am I (a buddy of mine traveled there to look) - so I am the only one who can see them.

I'll see if I can get some screens up. It's nothing one could exploit, but funny nevertheless.

Same here for me, I logged out just as the timer switched to 1, relogged, spawned high above Dalaran (as a ghost), all the Scholo-mobs where there as well.
They spawned in mid-air as well, there were even some doors and pretty much all the clickable stuff as well.

What wasn't there, though, were the spirit healers, so I had to relog once again, which landed me somewhere beneath the ground, unable to move, hearth, use unstuck or generally do anything at all. I couldn't even log out.

Last resort was a ticket which (fortunately) got answered ~15 minutes later and I was ported to Light's Hope and rez'd by some nice GM.

So, be careful with this, as it might fuck up your day :)

I got stuck on next login, too.

But, I didn't like the idea of reporting to a GM while exploiting^^

Luckily, the AV Battleground-Ready message just popped up, so I could escape the bug.

hey new to this forum... just gotta say this is one of the best exploits ever, i can solo them with my druid then barov trinket, works great, accidently pulled 2 of those guys still managed to kill them, the drain life is annoying tho
