Experience with free language courses!

Hello,
have you experience with free language courses? How did it go? Are courses like this any good?

Hier ist vermutlich "learning by doing" die Devise. Hatte mir mal probeweise solche Apps runtergeladen und diese ausprobiert. Letztendlich würde ich diese Apps oder auch Kurse nicht wirklich empfehlen.

Finde, dass man am besten lernt, wenn man das Ganze plötzlich auf Anhieb können muss. Hier hat aber wohl jeder eine andere Meinung. So lernt man dann am besten aus gemachten Fehlern.

I also searched for a long time to find such a course for English.
Unfortunately there was always a catch with the "free" offers. From the poor quality of the lessons to too little material or ultimately just other offers that you have to pay for.
Now I have decided on an online teacher that I found here [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and I have to say that was the best, decide the one I could do.
I like the way of learning with the teacher. He explains everything in a very simple and straightforward manner and he is very patient.

I know duolingo is a meme at this point, but I can say that in my experience it is really good.

Double for duolingo, it looks not so deep at first glance at the start of each course, but it changes gears pretty fast the further you go.
