Pvp cape ;
It hangs on us in about 10 seconds
What can I do to reduce this time?

RE is probably the only solution.
If you wish to do it anyway you better go for an instant state instead of reducing the waiting time.

In our case, having the ability to modify the gameserver module w/o the source code, by changing its assembly code and even attaching an external DLL in a code cave. You can use some known tools to make it easier (e.g., OllyDBG, IDA, and StudPE for an automatic codecave).

Maybe you will get an idea about it, if you are downloading and running a server with old files (ecsro etc.). There is no delay while putting cape with these files.
