Speed Hacking

This is more of a system wide glitch. It has worked in other games and might still work on the system itself. This involves editing the system clock, yes the little clock on your task bar. This glitch worked on Warcraft (original) and Worms 3D (xD) that Ive tested. And does also work on FFXI.

As I said this is very glitchy! This can cause your computer to go unstable! As well as get you stuck in walls or other random objects on FFXI.

Also I take no responsibility to what you do with this exploit / cheat. What you do is your actions, and your responsible for them.

Ok now onto the glitch. It is best to be using the window mode, unless you are able to Alt + Tab out of the game (using another program) or what ever.

Now double click your system clock in the bottom right corner (if you have your start bar on the default position..) And it will open the Set Time / Date properties.

Now, set your clock to say any time between:
12:12:12: to 1:00:12 (AM/PM doesnt matter)
Then click Apply. After you click apply change the time again. This time, change it to:
1:30:20

Then, click back onto the game window, if nothing happens right away give it a moment. Soon enough, your entire game should speed up really fast. As I said, this is very unstable and can get you banned perminatly from the game. Now, if it didnt work for you try again.

I used 12:12:12 when I changed the time.

Also, with this glitch, you can make your game go really slow as well. I want to add that this glitch can activate itself when ever it wants after you do it once, unless you restart your computer, or change the time completely. Meaning that if it stops, it can start up again randomly. So if your speeding to get to somewhere earlier then everyone else, then I would say restart your computer after you get there. AS I said, its buggy!

Basic run down:

- Open System Timer Properties
- Change time to 12:12:12
- Click Apply
- Change time to 1:30:20
- Click Apply

- Go back into the game and speed your little heart out.

Why can you get banned for this? No tool, no nothing.. and being able to change the System Time, you can say you use a second monitor or whatever.. How can you be forbidden to change your Windows time to what you want? :S

Can you explain overclocking? And how this is written in the ToS?

Well 1) You would have to use the windower to get to edit your system properties due to the fact that ffxi runs fullscreen across monitors (Hooked up both my 23" hdtv lcd's to my comp) in default, (btw it was fucking awesome) and 2) It is SE's game, they do whatever they want whenever they want, IE gil sellers, BAN THEM FUCKERS ALREADY

(LOL what a first post T-T)
