The upcoming third quarter release of the Korean MMORPG ArchLord will be distributed and operated in the U.S. and Europe by Codemasters.
Now in open beta in Korea, the game is being developed by NHN Games. ArchLord offers some unique twists on the typical MMORPG format. The game puts a lot of the control over world shaping in the hands of players and includes some serious PVP for guilds. Once a month, a single player will call the shots in the game world, leveraging power from ancient relics.
How To Register a Korean Account:
1. Make sure you have Asian Fonts Installed (Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Languages -> Install files for East Asian languages)

Name: Just copy and paste 2 or 3 Korean characters from somewhere
KSSN: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
It might take 20+ more tries to get a working KSSN. Also, make sure you write down your KSSN for later. It will likely be needed to delete chars.
After you enter a name and KSSN, press the Submit button. It should either show an error message or direct you to another page.

After you have successfully found a working KSSN, then click the grey button at the bottom to continue.

Username: 3-12 english letters, numbers, or underscore. Click button "check if available" to see if your username was already taken.
Password: 6-12 english letters or numbers
Password Again: enter your password again
Question: select any question (used for accessing lost passwords)
Answer: input any answer (used for accessing lost passwords)
Email: enter your email address, or click check-box to use a Naver (Korean) email.
Newsletter: click check-box if you want to receive a newsletter in your email
Phone #: enter a phone number (example - 011-0110-0110)
Enter numbers and letters: standard CAPTCHA test - just enter what you see into the text box
Click the Grey button at the bottom to continue. If you receive any errors, you may need to change something and try again.
4. Go to the Korean Archlord Website

Sometimes the registration page will return you to the Archlord site, and you will already be logged in. If not, then enter your username and password in the login box. Press the GO button, so that we can finish the registration.
5. Finish Registration

Zip-Code: click the brown button (Search Button) and it will go to another page. Put these characters ( 복대 ) in the search box, click the search button, and many zip-codes will show up. Click on one. It should then fill in the zip-code for you.

How to Play:
1. If you want to view the Korean chars, then you will need to use [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], and run the game through it. It's not needed, but it might help in some cases.
2. After you have installed and ran the game, it will start patching. (around 400mb of patching)
3. Once it is done, then press the "Game Start" button.
4. The game will load up, and then it will ask you for your username and password. The left button is "Login" and the right button is "Quit".
5. A server listing will show up. Click on one of the servers. The left button is "Quit". The middle button is "Enter Server". The right button is "Return to Login". Or you can double-click the server to enter it. Make sure you remember which server you joined, since there are a lot of them.
6. Now it is time to create a character. Press the middle button on the right. A character screen will show up.
7. Pick a race and class. Enter a name (it can be in english), and then press the button on the bottom right to start.
8. Your character will now be displayed for you to use. Double-click on your character to enter the game!
Other:
The game is point-and-click, and you can hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse to look in other directions.
Use the middle-mouse-button to zoom in and out. The F10-F12 keys can change your view as well. I prefer F12 view.
To level up, go outside the city gates, and you will probably find some giant worms or something. Double-click on them to kill them. Be careful though, because if you attack one monster that is next to a bunch of others, they will join in the fight! If you are hurt, use a healing potion. I don't think there is a way to sit down and regain HP. By the way, I haven't tried magic yet, so I don't know how to throw spells.
Some useful in-game keys:
Q - quests
I - inventory
C - character info and equipment
K - skills
O - options (you might need lower some settings if the game is too jerky/laggy)
If anyone needs any help with registering or playing the game, then let me know. I'm level 7 right now, even though I don't know how to do most of the quests. Maybe later we can start a guild or something. Even if we don't, at least we'll be ahead of everyone else when CodeMasters releases Archlord in english. :D
