Which epic would be a mega hit server?

Hi.

I think an E7 server with E4 pet skills would be a mega hit server.

I wish Omegas server was an E7 server with E4 pet skills not E9 with E4 pet skills.

I miss Omegas server so much (E5.2 based on E4, it was the most unique server, most players stopped playing because it became E9 with E4 pet skills and rates became lower than it was in the beginnings)

Also Epic 3 server would be more unique.

I wish I was a dev.

I manage to convert old epic skills to higher epics(i don't know if i made it perfect :D)

I think old epics can be made with a source code(i have no skill to do that such thing) or use never epics and downgrade things as many as possible since some mechanic features that higher epics have are quite nice.but with right people i assume anything is possible.

I played this game from closed beta then from epic 2 to 7. Honestly anything past 7 is lame. Once soul pets were introduced the game became like any other generic grindy korean mmo. But before that the pet system was unique and really set it apart. Epic 3 had the best pet system, but the stats just werent there and endgame content ended at the lvl 80 dungeon unless you wanted to grind on the field for 110+ before they added palmir plateu. Epic 4 overhauled the pet system, but each pet still had their own unique skills. After epic 4 the game started headed south ina bad way. All pet skills were replaced with cookie cutter 1 /2/3 style skills, no more interesting skills. So honestly an epic 7 with the original epic 4 style skills would probably be the best hands down, for me personally.

I'd say e6.2 with e4 pet skills but then again it's a p-server.

Older epics have more unique and broken things (e4 siren for example) which make them kinda interessting but e4 content went up to lvl 120 (palmir extended grinding).
Epic 3 ended on Crystal Mountain I think which is roughly 80ish up to 90.

e5 added the veiled island dungeons which were fun while being lv 110+ but grinding there for eternity until lv 150 was a butthurt pain.

So you miss a lot of content in the lower epics or go for the higher epics which come with all the changes they did.

Guess the best way would be to balance the game towards the endcontent you can deliver and adjust the exp rate so that it takes a while to get there. But I doubt it would attract a lot of players in the end which you need to make things interessting. Otherwise you need up implementing support npcs and basically go for a solo player experience.

Hmmm we had a old server like 8 years ago an epic 7 was very populated but died of lack of development and busy in real life stuff etc.
It's not just the older or newer epic that makes your server stand out and make it populated, you must dedicate yourself to keep changing and brining new stuff weekly/monthly like we do now in our server with upcoming updates. And yes players come and go, don't make this stop you from working on your server, keep working on it players hop alot between servers, but once you bring interesting stuff they return some stick and some go.

Wow, Red Pixie's E3 skills on E9, we saw all of Siren's E3 skills in one of my threads (shoutouts to that guy who made the video)


I read that Yeti was a buffer in E3.
Siren had an AOE fear skill.
A lot of class skills were different
Dexterity used to increase cast speed.
One of the worst things about Rappelz is your need to buffs every time you play but in epic 3 you can kill minibosses without cleric buffs (I saw a sorcerer in Youtube killing a miniboss at a dungeon his same level with only self buff)

If I was a dev I would create an E7 server with E3 or E4 skills.

If epic 3 isn't made with source code i think best files that somebody should use is 9.1 or 9.4 since u have alot of things that are quite good for project.



if somebody can help me make skill3database.lua or dll i can help make e3 skills in newer epics.

Creature Life leech. All stats were trash in epic 3 but that buff is what made sorc the best pet class hands down,that plus the skill shadow pressure which was a evasion debuff insta cast
