making a private server

hello everyone
I have been trying to make a private server since like 2 years
it never works I dont know why .. all the tutorials miss something .. no one puts the full image of how to do this
now I face the problem of AUTH DB INIT ERROR
I searched for that and didnt find the solution >> tried everything it still doesnt work
I am not looking for a solution now but I want to contact anyone that have made a private server before and to talk to him while doing that and to tell me what to do exactly
please anyone will help

Auth db init error is caused by auth server not being able to log into your database. Can be caused by a few different things.

1. User sa's log in is not enabled in MSSQL

2. sa's password has not been done correctly in SQL or you are using the wrong DES encryption tool on the password. (Try blank password at first if it works someone can help you out with the correct set up later)

3. The .opt files were not edited correctly with local host addresses and auth can not find your database.

4. The .opt files were not encrypted with the correct encryption tool creating the .eop file (Remove the old .eop file to make sure it is working and making a new one)
