Request for both devs & members

how's it going everyone, I am actually pretty new to Rohan community and it got to my attention that this forum is where most veterans of this game can be found, but to introduce myself shortly I have owned a private server and have worked for other servers of different MMO games. it got to my attention also that the official Rohan game is closing soon so it seemed like a challenge for me to try something new

reason of this thread is because I am looking to team up with atleast 1 or 2 other experienced developers who would be interested to start working on a new server ASAP to finish it in the next following months. I can provide sponsorship and my programming skills to the right individuals. need to mention that I have played a Rohan private server long time ago, my game knowledge is not big but im in a process of current studying of how everything works around this game. for anyone intestered send me a DM

as for the members, if there is anyone left who still wants to see this game alive and kicking, my question would be what is the best thing you would like to see on Rohan nowadays? maybe we can work together and make something for everyone to enjoy. thanks for ur time !

There are only few People who are worth the Time and Money.
Dark,Dreto,kthxbai and HuninHune (but hes working on his own Server rn).

Take care from Indo/PH People who are selling half broken files or backdoors.

Something I've been craving for a long time and I'm currently trying to accomplish was to get rid entirely of safe zone and add some sort of switch between peaceful and pk mode. Would have been so good but unfortunately this can been abused in so many ways you don't even imagine. Anyway wish you good luck and if you have any questions or need help feel free to ask me, don't expect too much help around here this community is garbage

I'd doubt that its worth even trying to make a server since this game is quite rip. Most of 'veterans' as you mentioned are nowdays people with their own life not like 5-8+ years ago where everyone were playing everyday.

Safe to say I have found a partnership to continue this project through, alongside secure files and more. We are looking forward to implement some features from other games, so potentially some stuff ROHAN scene didn't experience before :) I will announce more when the time is right also thank you for people who share their thoughts

Actually now its better to run server then 5 yrs ago there was no so many players, atm there is decent rohan community aswell global is closing

The Rohan crowd is a fickle one. You will find a lot of people that are looking for new, unique features in the game. But there are the purists as well that will complain and bash your server mercilessly for not being true to their beloved version of the game.

Pick a player type you want to go after then and ignore the inevitable bashing from the others.

at the end of the day there will always be the left and right opposition. the player type you mention about is not essential in defining the essence and the context the game goes by. my past experience in other MMO communities can confirm the crowds are the same, but that's not a bad thing by any means :) hate will be everywhere, you just have to ignore it

The kind of server im looking for is old school server. no craft no Upgrades no fortifications. but with a little bit of new at the same time. for example ill give you a few private servers that i played and what i liked about them.

GOD rohan - the level cap was 150 <-- this was nice yeah lvl 1-115 was easy but getting to 150 was hard. maybe making it easy from 1-99 then add a infinite level cap?

Vengeance rohan - Complete trash but they found a way to use all the armors to forge them into a new armor. i like this making all the ancients to make 1 new ultimate armor that way you farm the best of the best in the beginning and get to use it for a different kind of armor maybe Froainne + Pluion + Edwin + Bedron + Glacial + Onyx = ultimate armor? that would be cool same with weapons but weapons not exceeding an ridiculous %

Rennasaince rohan - Theme park great addition Farming for IP tickets

Emblems under character.

Make boss items worth something again.

Pet looting not max parts only- that makes it boring might as well just give everyone max parts for free. this takes the fun out of farming.

Skills wise dont give hero skills before there actual level.

Dekan - change up the colors make them stand out more maybe an aura.

Costumes -
Wings
Anime costumes

when it comes to balance. let them be as they were meant to be back in the day all classes were killable before crafting.
maybe make some classes more usefull

Defender Vit - Blunt mastery x amount of melee based on HP?? maybe

if you dont have crafting then the hp shouldnt be too high.

I read everything :) But still came out to my mind about your attitude problem.

i appreciate everyone who let our their opinion in here. we do aim to keep the old game feelings alive, but we do not strive to copy or be just another basic server between all others. after some research I reach the conclusion 90 % of the servers that come-and-go are likely to be very simillar to each other, which is why we will try to do things our own way :)
