I'm also interested just to read item information from chat packet.

At first instance, the information sent into the chat packet looks like ID's because I didn't found relations with the item itself, not even stats.

So for me, the ID's are sent with a unique separator pointing to a different packet which contains all this info (Not sure if iSRO works similar.. just theory, I'm not testing myself this stuff since the server I played didn't have item link)

Confirmed behavior on item linking with TRSRO.

Chat packet 0x3026 contains uniques ID's in his text message surrounded by special characters to be easily identified, these ID's are pointing to the items data which can be found into the 0xB504. Their packet structure is very similar to a regular item parsing.

When sending a global message, there is also a seperate communication for Items as well. Most private servers don't do it this way though.

I think the hardest part is still ifslotwithhelp from ifchatviewer.

I'm pretty sure this is not something "hidden" on vSRO clients, it will just crash the game.

This is more like analyze and take specific snippets (ASM) from a newer client/server to change the code behavior on the older one.
