Rust Ban.. Question

So i was banned today for detection of hacks for 3 days.

but why only 3days? was it a true detection or just had i been player reported spammed?

You provided such little information that it's impossible to determine whether or not you were detected/reported-banned, provide more information;

1. ) What cheat were you using?
2. ) What server-type were you playing? Official/Modded/Community ...
3. ) Were you using rage-like/risky features? If so what kind and how often...
4. ) Have you ever been game-banned before? If so, how many times(ESTIMATE)...
^- 5. ) Does the cheat you're using support a HWID-spoofer?
^- 6. ) If so; have you checked if it's properly working? 'wmic diskdrive get serialnumber'

3 day bans are based on your stats and you got banned by ceberus

that does not mean your cheat is detected

ceberus bans also affect legit players, I have been banned before on a 0 houred account while not even cheating. There is multiple factors what can get you temp banned like using the same IP, not spoofing everything correctly, having the same GUID anything basicly

3 days is okay, be careful :)

some of them turn into perm bans but thats a very low chance
if you're getting 3 day bans it means your playing too blatantly where the cerberus picks up on your stats so you get banned based on stats which is why a high hour/heavily played account is better to play on as it will take longer to ban you
it also means your cheat is undetected cause if it was a perm ban that means your cheat is detected unless it was a manual.

none of this matters if it was detected it would've been a perm ban, reports don't always lead to bans but trigger your account to be checked by cerberus so it would've been a report based ban due to stats.
