Ok.. Got a problem and need some help

Alright.. I have my characters' information saved in a passworded rar file..

But I forgot the password to it..

Anyway to crack it?

It's a noobish question I know! :ops:

By the way.. It was done with WinRAR..

lol... well this is dependant on you... If you think you used a word ( single word ) and not something like omgirock546 you can try a brute force program. No I will not direct you on where to get one, mainly because if you are using it for illegal or unethical purposes, like screwing over your friends, I am not taking the fall for it. Do a google search. That's pretty much ( to my knowledge ) your only bet.

You might try uninstalling any compressors like zip or rar then restart ur comp and your windows should support some kind of compressing. The next step is you cross your fingers and hope that windows compressor doesn't support password protection.. lol :P

This probably won't work so don't try it if you're not desperate.

It only searches 4 passwords a second for me..

I'm wondering if there is anyway to DECRYPT the password someway easier?
