Hosting a server with hamachi not as bad as people put it out to be. The number one reason why people use it , is because they cannot acess there router to port forward. There parents could have locked it out or a network admin. 90% of people do not have static ip addresses and there ip's can change at anytime. The number one fix for something like this is an auto updater. Host your update files on a private or public web host. If you have a web site then this works fine too, if you ip would change one time in a month just do a update and in the update change the server.dat. Hope i helped!

If you need a better or more in-depth explanation please let me know and i will further continue.

coemu u cnt connect to it if its on ur own IP . well if its non hamachi it needs to be an external server not one on ur own network but i think u can bypass this by connecting to it with hamachi but idk but if so it might explain why u cnt...
