Hey guys i got a huge temperature problem with my rx580.
I didnt ever overclock it and iam running it in his normal config, but the temp. reaches sometimes over 94° and my pc shuts down.
I mean 89-90° at 400-700mhz isnt normal i guess?

Have you ever cleaned your pc case? Maybe it's just completely caked in dust. How does the overall airflow look like? Did you remove all stickers from the backplate and fans?

I clean my pc 1x evry month, i also have a good airflow i think, i mean i was able to oc my i5 6600k up to 4,6ghz without any temp problem.

the rx 580 is 2-3months old and idk, i removed evrything and its damn clean

Are you sure the fans are working?

If the fans weren't working, the graphics card would be much warmer.

Did you read his post?

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]: What custom model do you have? The card should run at 70 - 80C° with good airflow under full load. When the card reaches above 80°C it will throttle back to protect the chip. 90°C is the maximum temperature at which the card should be run.

- Check your airflow. The best airflow scenario is negative pressure: more air is being pulled out of the case than being pushed in.
- Replace the thermal paste. Check temps whit fans at 100% speed (set it manually in the software)
