Noob mage

Hello world of KalOnline, I just started the game and so far i am likeing it very much. I just need to have a few questions answered if possable from you all. I am playing on the server Hanin as a mage, I have looked at alot of guides and ran into one called a splashy mage, which so far i like. I am haveing problems with earning geons thou becouse of the mass health and mana potions, and buying new weapons, armor ect.

What can i do to boost my geon income without hurting myself for battle?

what do teachers gain from you if you are the student?

Is it possable to remove the yellow text from the private stores in citys?

Where is a good place to grind levels if thats the best method of leveling at my current lvl of 14.


Iam not new to mmo's or just plain rpg's so i can pretty much get by without any help. But since i am haveing problems getting a few questions answered in game i figured i would ask you guys for your help.

Not sure if i am hunting wrong spots for the geon flow or even a desent drop to sell for the geons. And how is my stats so far? Look like a noob or are they stright.

fighting without getting hurt is not that easy, you've to run away from the mob, hit him, run away again... this works if the mobs are slow like water dragons and you have got speed.

everytime you pick an amount of geons (i dont know the amount right now) the teacher get 5-15 geon. at level 16 the student and the teacher get (20k??) i think it was 20k. and at level 30 both get 50k (?)

you cant remove the text of the shops. maybe you can, but it won't be easy.

your leveleing place depends on ur stuff.. if you have g40 etc you can train at higher mobs... but i think you dont have g40 =D

on which server do you play?

doubt that, he was talking about battle. cjb ain't much a fighter on int servers, especially in lower levels. (though splashing won't be a problem)

So,
at the student/teacher system the teacher get an a specific number of % of each GeonBag u collect from the floor. With the bigger amounts of geons at lvl 16 and 30 i think katze is right but im not sure too.

like katze said ur lvling place depends on your stuff, i think u have no stuff or maybe g8 or g16 then i have to lvl at big handeds i think.
if u got g32 or g40 u can go near geum oh mine and lvl there.
stay there till lvl 35 with mage ;).

u cant remove the yellow text from shops.
otherwise u wont see what they sell oO

last but not least
u cannot fight without getting hurt
u can run with speed and attack and run and attack and so on.
but this is not very useful -__-.
Behead after every mob u kill so u get some of your hp and mana back.

To your skills.
I think u should decide if u wanna be a hermit or an cjb
if u wanna be a hermit i think u should start a new mage-.-
cause i think a cure/i/l hermit suck =P.
if u wanna be a cjb ur skills are ok.
dont skill lightning with cjb
stay on ice and heal.

Well thanks to thou's that gave good info on the questions i asked. The rest of the guys/gals most not have better things to do. Anyways.

Yea i play on Hanin as RoLLIt. And iam useing a g25 stick.
And for not removeing yellow text booo.
And for teacher well i asked that becouse someone became my teacher then loged off so now i get why.

I dont know what cjb is yet but ill look around see what info i can find on it. I was looking into makeing a sw/splashy mage, let me know if thats dumb please. I was planning on building the mage like this

by level 50
Health – 70
Intelligence – 90
Wisdom – 70

for skills ill get 61 but will only use 46 with my build, i will place rest when that time comes, my skills at level 50 will look like this.

From levels 1-29
(- Heal g3,)
(- Cure g1 )
(- Lightning g5 )
(- Ice g20 )


From levels 30-49
(- Ice mastery g5)
(- Meditation g3,)
(- ShockWave(SW) g5,)
(- Splashy Ice g5,)
(- Speed up g3,)
(-Revive g1)
(-Frost g1)

so far iam at level 49 in my stats , i am thinking about going hermit so i can get thunder. Not sure if that is wise or not but looks good on paper. Please look over what i just posted and tell me if you think i will be a crap mage, or what lol thanks again all

So far it has been nice leveling this mage, Thou i havent reached my splashy level yet. So If my post above looks ok please say or if u think i am wasteing my time please say. Only if you mean it not just flameing. Thanks all

If u dont know what is "cjb" - "hermit" go to youtube and watch some vids.

Also about lvl 50 stats i would make as herm on "global" maybe 90hp/50int/50wis/50agi and later maybe 60 wis and rest on agi

Hum why agi?

every mage uses agi xD and less int i think ;P
agi mages are very good in evading...

if u got enough money for good equipp ;) eva mage is only usable with g55 bof+
with g50 d1 still hit me like shit when i was 53...

lols i am 62 on hanin and i have like 60 hp and 40 wis other agy nothing to int lols and i evade good and everything is cool btw if u wana be cjb = healer or hermit = attacker
learn for cjb = cure and those thingies g10 light and g10 ice than sw g5 and splashy g3 other is all normal ; hermit = use g10 ice g20 light and learn just attacking skills ''frost'' is shit skill :), 1 more thing u should do quests for extra skills :P hf

Thanks everyone for your input on helping me make a good mage. So far i think i am doing good towards the stats/skills thati've posted. Thou someone suggested to put some into INT i dont think ill be doing that quite yet or ever. But heck who knows i might do it later on.

Do to lack of geons at my low level and just starting out in the game I started up a knight so i could make some geons abit faster without spending so much on the mage.
Got knight to 30 and got all my gear for my mage so i am back to building the mage. So far she looks like this.
