Question about GM DETECT

Does this detect if a gm is on the map and then disconnect you, or does it disconnect you if a gm is near you.... this is important to my safety and i would like to know...im a bit confuused so i was just wondering that

When near you.

it only detects when a gm is near you as in your range of sight. The range is not big enough to scan the whole map.

I noticed my character was still online for 6 seconds after the GM Detect d/c me. I know this because I had 2 pc open and watch my friend list.

If you DC in ANY way, u'll still be in the game for 10 sec and then disapear. :)

4 me it is like 3-4 seconds

Hmmm, maybe its up to 10, but even so, those seconds can get u banned.

When GM enters in Dung before his screen loads you get DC and he can only wait for you to log in with hack to get you one more time to confirm that you are hacking.
But there is a solution for that ^^

Also guys, remember that the scipt just searches for the tag [GM] in the name of everyone, and if it finds it, you dc.
If GM's were smart (idk if they're or not) and if they would check this forum, all they would need to do is change the tag to any different thing and then the script would not detect them.

well but the server detects if someone is a GM by the same thingy. So if they would remove their tag they are no longer GMs and cant teleport to u.
They should add a GM flag to the user db instead of the tags. :D

So basicly this is the final result:
1) You dc when the GM is in your sight.
2) When you dc your char stays about 4-8seconds ingame.
