Start from scratch | Darkorbit

I will start from scratch in Global Europe 1.My plan is to buy ~4 Millions Uridium but I haven't played Darkorbit from around 2 years.
Can you guys give me advice on how to spend wisely my uridium and build the account ?
I can share the results of my journey here if you find it interesting ! :)

Advice n°1, when you make the account, use russian or turkish ip so you can have cheaper €€€ stuff^^

I hope you're ready to grind for hours and hours and hours.

You really have to know about yourself that you won't get bored with it in order to keep a good momentum.

Try to make use of the Blitz sale (400% sale mostly on Friday/Saturday 6PM Server time) when you're buying Uridium.
Make use of upgrade hours, keep track of the weekly schedule in the Darkorbit Discord and use all events in your advantage the most you can.

Do not level things you would never level if you were UFE such as unstable LF4, regular LF4 etc but prioritize as if your goal is to be UFE as soon as possible.

What I highly suggest is finding a good/active/friendly clan which can help you with hard quests.

Only spin gates on Sundays or only with extra energies.

Buy a P.E.T. as soon as possible and level it together with your ship because having Kamikaze Lv3 is just so much more efficient than using ammo in gates.

Don't buy green keys to get LF4 because there are too many weapons out now that are better like the Parity Drill, Hyperplasmoid, Magmadrill and Prometheus. Buy premium and rebate to be as Uridium efficient as possible and don't spend any Uridium on cosmetic stuff.

I'm sure there is a bunch of other things I can think of but this is a good start.

Why don't make a survey to let you know which server might be better for you? Like the one with more "epvp members" or one with a clan which can help you ^^

What is "UFE" these days? What should the player own? Which weapons are best, what configuration, drone formation, generators, ships? Let's say for NPCs and for Hunting Players and also for doing Palla (in my case with a bot). Thanks.

UFE is having full B02 shields, full LF4 lasers, 8 Iris, 1 Apis and 1 Zeus + Havoc + Hercules + P.E.T. Lv20.

UFE+ = All above. All new 3D Drone formations, 10 Spartans and 10 Hercules. Full B03, Full Prometheus laser, fully unlocked P.E.T.

I don't think there is a specific meaning to the saying 'UFE' but it is something along the lines of what I put above^.

Configurations I use:

PVE: Solace - attack config - Ship -> Full Prometheus, Rocket Launcher, 7 speed generators, 8 B03's. Drones -> 10 Spartan, 20 Prometheus. P.E.T. -> Full Prometheus, full B02's, Kamikaze Lv3, Combi Repair Lv3, NPC Locator Lv3. 12 Alien protocols.

Speed config - Ship -> Full Prometheus, Rocket Launcher, 15 Speed generators. Drones -> Full Hercules, 20 B03's. P.E.T. -> Full Prometheus, full B02's Kamikaze Lv3, Combi Repair Lv3, NPC Locator Lv3. 12 Radar protocols.


PVP: Cyborg - attack config - Ship -> Full Prometheus, Rocket Launcher, 16 Speed generators. Drones -> 10 Spartans, 20 Prometheus. P.E.T. -> Full Prometheus, full B02's, Kamikaze Lv3, P.E.T. Link Gear Lv1, Combi Repair Lv3, 12 Laser Protocol.

Speed config - Ship -> Full Prometheus, Rocket Launcher, 16 Speed generators. Drones -> 10 Hercules, 20 B03's. P.E.T. -> Full Prometheus, full B02's, Kamikaze Lv3, P.E.T. Link Gear Lv1, Combi Repair Lv3, 12 Shield Protocol.


As for extras: Smart Bomb CPU, Slot CPU 4, Rocket Launcher CPU, Repair-Bot Auto CPU, Turbo Mine CPU, Insta-Shield CPU, Cloaking CPU XL, Auto Rocket CPU, Serum-CPU-XL, Advanced Jump CPU 1, Targeting Guidance CPU 2, Repair Bot 4 and Drone Repair CPU 2.

The extras are the same in both configs because you never know when you need to hit back. As for the PVP part, why I don't use shields in my battle config is because I do not like endless fights. I fly in with Moth, shoot until they shoot back, ISH, EMP and cloak and repeat.

Call me a bitch for fighting like that but I surely know it's better than those endless P.E.T. SAB fights nowadays.

You need at least 21 skill point for fat lasers, that costs you 1,920 logfiles. You have to do Zetas to earn Havocs, when you did one, you will get 25 green booty keys. You can get most of logfiles from GG rolls, GreenBoxes and auction.

Skills:
Ship Hull I:2, Engineering:1, Shield Engineering : 2,Bounty Hunter I:2, Ship Hull II:3, Shield Mechanics:5, Electro-optics:3, Bounty Hunter II:3

I recommend you that do the shields too. That costs 3 more.

Edit: As for the formats you need Drill(For pvp), Ring/Heart(For PVP starts), Wheel(For running), Moth(For fast GGs), Diamond(For Cubes).
Im not so good in pvp fights, but i would start with ring form, then heart, then switch to drill, then Pincer and Diamond. If you use multiple formations, you will get some advantages.

Palladium collecting is not something I've ever done since I found it a waste of time because you ONLY collect Palladium at the moment of collecting and when you're shooting Uridium you're also collecting experience, honor, rankpoints and credits. It just didn't weigh out.

I personally love the Pusat because it's so fast and is able to dish out a lot of damage. You can (just as with the Cyborg) fly in with moth, deal a ton of damage, EMP, cloak and repeat. This works well in group fights where you can distract the focus on other clan members who are flying with the Ring formation (+%85 Shield) and rip through their hull when they're busy with someone else.

Also you wouldn't necessarily need every new 3D-Formation. The most important ones are Ring, Drill, Wheel and maybe Veteran if you're a rankplayer. Moth stands out in easy gates such as Alpha, Beta and Gamma because it ignores shields of larger NPC's and those gates don't have NPC's that have a higher range than you.

As for the Pilot Sheet. I keep it like this because you get all the benefits of extra hull, repair time and damage but also with extra honor.

For what purpose do I need those LF-4s? Do I have to make all of them or regular LF-4 is good enough and then just focus on Prometheus?

Well, my tactic is collect palla and then do Gates. So in the end you have EXP, Honor, RP, Cr, Uri ... and GG Rewards

So Pusat can potentially be my "daily driver" for all kind of stuff till I get Cyborg.

Is this second picture for PVP or I'll benefit in PVE also? I have 26PP but I have full Heat, Rocket Fusion, Alien Hunter ... but looking at that picture it seems like its not that important and probably I'll do more dmg with big lasers in PVE and also PVP. right?

in this way i made my account from just few havocs to full havoc/hercules in ~1 month, just by smashing zeta and kappa gates (with bots) on sundays

and i'm a palladium lover since palavia was released, i think it's the cool way to take profits out of the game!

That's a good point:
i use it just for palladium since it is fast & deal damage, might use it on npc hunting too, but when i play by myself, i always prefer goliath (try to have 2 hangars avialable, one left on 5-3 and one powerful for normal game time)

• kappa for hercules
• kronos (if you saturn (i did 4 for it))
• then zeta (for pilot points /booty keys /rank)

I'd focus a lot on zeta gate since it gives a lot of useful stuff and it's easy to do, ~40k uri from 1 gate and logfiles are good!

i won't comment about PvP just because i'm out of it since too much lol :o
