Why has everything gone subscription based?

I'm a new(ish) EFT player and I'm pretty tired of getting stomped by super high ranking players, or others using cheats. And lately I've been encountering a lot of cheaters.

So I wanted to level the playing field.
I used to cheat some back in the day on CS, BF3, BF4, and many others but stopped gaming due to work.

Recently retired and looking to buy some but everything has gone subscription based. Never used to be that way.

Anyone have a real short explanation as to why?

I've narrowed my selection down to either Gator or IO based on my research, but now it seems like it will be difficult to get an invite. Understandably so, but I'll be trying.

This is how I think, probably I'm wrong.. but if I had my own cheat, I would like it to be exclusive so I sell it to 10 people max at once which is less likely to be detected if a limited of people use it.. also given the fact that I only have 10 people using it I can't just sell it for let's say 50$ so that is 500$ and that is it. I rather have 10 customers who pay me 15$ every month which supports the developer to keep updating it working time etc.

Yes, 500 a month is like pocket change to these devs. bro they spend that in a day on smoking weed and buying useless shit off amazon.

if you think any real eft dev will private a cheat for 50 a month and income of 500, that is stupid. when you can make way over 10/20K a month mass-selling into the Chinese market and allowing resellers.

not only that bypasses get sold and saturated and boom most cheats get hit. most devs have families, rent and stuff to pay for, so they sell source/bypass etc ...good luck finding a private cheat for 50.

So the main takeaway is to lower the amount of cheats out there to limit their likelihood of getting caught. I think that makes sense. Thx

He was using theoretical numbers to make a point I believe.

Those were just made up numbers for sake of the example ^^
