Game lagging with High FPS

Hey, for some reason the game of my friend is lagging despite him having > 100 FPS all the time.

I know this from other games where this occurs when you are running fullscreen window and have some kind of browser open. But he uses regular fullscreen and doesn't have anything open except discord.

He even disabled the discord overlay and is running the newest drivers.

What could this possibly be? He doesn't seem to have these problems in any other game besides league.

Cap the Frames at 144 FPS. Doesnt know if it helps but.
I got these "Laggy" situation my character Teleporting back and forwards if the fps were over 144 .

Well it's not lagging in the sense of responsivness, but rather the game just feels like 30 fps but it's actually well above that.

But will tell him to cap and see if that helps.

I used to the problem that the longer the game went, the more "hidden" fps drops i had. Upgrading my RAM fixed the problem entirely (had 8 GB before, it was never capped out tho, maybe just broken after a few years)

The second thing is that sometimes my game feels laggy if i have browser etc opened even though CPU/GPU usage is at a minimum. Running the game in full screen (not windowed mode, actual full screen) solves that problem for me

He exactly has this problem without having his browser opened. This is the exact thing I was trying to explain.

Already told him to change to fullscreen as well, but that didn't change anything sadly.

Will tell him all these suggestions though

Deinstall your OS.
And dont UPDATE the Drivers via Tools like MSI.

I think its driver failure
update drivers with driver booster
