03/05/2020 17:54 PhysicMind#1
I don't know if it's a right section to ask i'm new to the Forum, if yes then I apologize.

I would like to ask how much is the good source worth?
I have an offer for a source from pauvm1618 <-- does anyone know if he is legit?

Don't get it false. I know it's your thing but in my Opinion i woulnd't buy a Source with your knowledge try to learn on Cryless source or other free sources

i say that again DONT GET IT FALSE its your thing but in my opinion before i buy a source i would just learn the Language(C#) and try to do things like new features ..

so just honestly in my opinion try to learn the Language first then try to do own things and then Buy the source (if needed =]).

and if you have problems just pm me on discord: Inno#1911

i help Ppl as much as i can.

and i say that just because i saw your last posts.

Greetings Inno

I would love that!

As well Innox thanks for the opinion. It's just i don't have spare time for the developing ... Work and such which led me to conclusion to just buy a source or ask for any good ones that don't require a lot of work on them! Anyways thanks again!

Don't buy source from anyone.
There are still a few that are in right to sell a nice product.
I'm not talking about all the wannabe devs here in this community, but only a few have showed their skills writing an emulator from scratch. :)

All sources based on OpenNos, actually running, needs a lot of work to have a good gameplay experience for players.
I'm talking about :
- Fluid battle system (no one got one)
- User input crash-free (no one got one because OpenNos' way to handle things is crappy as hell, so anyone can easily find exploits to make the server crash)
- Easily customizable game features (Often, we see that things are unbalanced, but no one fucking thought that things could be balanced through some settings only, they keep using the same code)
- Broken Quests system since NosWings brought the Quests system to OpenNos, we know that we have done it the wrong way thanks to @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] knowledge
- Broken timespace system and raid system, even thought people think it's "ok", it's far away from being a high quality gameplay, all the features are still the same ones introduced by OpenNos' raid system
- Broken pet/partners system it's full of shitty hardcode which make any extendable behavior a pain to introduce.

There is no good ones available.
Most sources are just OpenNos sources on which they added some "features"(hardcoded & unmaintainable) and they sell it for hundred bucks.

There is really no point to pay someone to get an emulator who crash 10 time/day with thousands of bugs.

So to get a good one i would just have to make one from scratch?

Basically, yes. You could also just try to fix/rework the bad points of ON (but you will fell in the "let's hardcode for now and rework later"-trap), but it will still require a lot of time and knowledge.

The whole software itself is bad, if people wants to fix it, just remove it completely and write something new.
