Preventing IP ban with multiple accounts

So I heard from people and the forums that if you reset the password for 5 or more accounts, you will be IP banned. Can anyone confirm this is true? If it is, does anyone know of an IP changing programs? I have way more than 5 accounts and this would really screw me over.

Edit: Okay so I changed my IP address by simply unplugging my modem and resetting it. So far I have done it before resetting the password on each of my accounts. I've reset six with no problems left. I've been using whatismyip.com to check my IP and making sure it changes after each reset. Anyways, I'll finish all of my accounts and get back here.

Edit 2: Okay well it seems that the method I used above worked. I managed to change all of my accounts' passwords without any problem. Can someone delete/lock this thread since my problem has been resolved.

is that true about the ip ban though? because i have changed probly 4 passwords so far. so i guess later tonight ill get a different ip just to be safe.

I've reset the passwords to over 10 accounts and used forgot password feature to find what email was associated with each account and no bans.

yeah dude, if they ban youd because you changed you pass to much you should say your a lil slow in the head and forget your pass alot xD

Do they ever IP ban anyone? All I've seen is account banning.

xD yeah gm's to lazy.... i pretty much sent them a ticket saying im using mods and i didnt get banned they just saided theyve been having issues lately with the game

sounds about right... who said it? i did once on an alt just to see and crash was like "we are experiencing difficulties with the game and are working to resolve the issue in a timely manner" funny thing was my main got banned for gold dupe and i didn't even have the storage service or a house ._. and i was playing clean lol

Well I heard from several different people that if you change passwords for more than five accounts on one IP then you get auto ip banned. Maybe I was just being paranoid and they never really did this at all lol. Ill have to go find out more. Anyways it doesnt hurt being extra safe.

Will a proxy or two be a safe alternative to changing your IP?

Hmmm... i don't know maybe... but sometimes they check to see if you are using a proxy, idk if Mabi does though.

proxy is checked why do you think that outside US using proxy doesn't work?
