I have already planned the futures and extras for the server, message me private to see all after that i would like to ask you how much time you need and what would it cost if you programm the whole idea of my server.

The people who sell servers are all scammers these days. They'll sell you sources at crazy high prices that aren't maintainable, contain backdoors, are full of exploits, get high ping, etc. See [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] for some interesting insight into that. Even if you were to commission someone to write you a custom server, it very rarely works out. The ideas guy gets screwed most of the time, because the programmer can just host the server on their own and make money from it without sharing it with you. If you want your ideas to go into a server, then I recommend finding a server you like and supporting them instead. There are only a small handful of really good servers out there, and they could use your support.

Edit: I don't mean to discourage you, of course. If you wanted to learn how to program and host your own server, then I can definitely point you in the right direction.

What is a crazy high price, do you know the fair price pauachal?

I'm trying to find a server to support from deep hearth but in the same time I'm tired everyone is thinking we need a good classic server and that's all, in reality a good server needs updates with a new idea maybe instead of just fixing bugs and that's all. We need a server has specials not a copy paste, what they think why the original tq doing so many updates with new futures coz that's professional way for money. But we can use finally the professional way for the fun. And when the money side has more money than the fun side, than I will not even be even existed in this from beginning��

I would like to learn but with my low school shit I can't even dream about to have this as job in the future. But as a hobbie why not, i can try it

The reason why the community is so saturated with classic servers is because that's the top scam right now. And those servers are always "fixing bugs" because they copy and paste really bad code between sources. They more or less use the same leaked source from 2010 as a base, but all have a decade of bad code spliced into it. People buy one of those sources for 500-700 USD, realize they were scammed, attempt to sell it to the next person, and then buy "another" source that's no different. Or they just keep sinking money and host an awful server for a month to a year before giving up. Our community is in a pretty deplorable state because of it.

Honestly, I'm going to warn you right now: If you're too busy at the moment to learn how to program for a project like this, then you probably can't host a server like the one you described. The community will just scam you. Anyone who says "100% fixed" to anything isn't reputable. I used to know only one reputable programmer offering services, and he stopped a while ago. I really wouldn't trust anyone that approaches you...

We don't have any high patch sources here yet either, since all the high patch sources are scam sources with backdoors that we don't want to get posted... I believe World Conquer's source might be updated soon to 5808, but I don't know how soon or how public that work is right now. @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] can probably answer that better than I can. Another option might be to try another game.

Conquer online is korean, right? What about korean Forums korean sources just translate to english something like that?

I want to learn programm, can you give me your best Tipps to learn the fastest way.

Conquer is Chinese, but I've never heard of Chinese private servers for Conquer Online. If you want to learn programming, you'd want to pick up C# for most of our servers. You should go through Microsoft's tutorials before picking up a source: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]. Programming takes time to learn, so don't try and rush it. You might be learning the basics for a few weeks or months before picking up a server source - and that's perfectly normal.

It's on a public repository somewhere already XD but I shared the repository with a couple persons only so we can test it faster. Soon it will be really public.

Im fine with patch 5375 and i would remove monks and than i just need to to put in Features and extras, what i can't understand: "clean profissional source, stable ping", thought the ping is all over your private Internet thats all? I'm thinking to much but its way simplier and easier i guess... when i learn that what you told me.

Ping isn't just measured by your internet connection, it's the round trip time of making a request to receiving a response. How quickly the server can process a request can be very important. Let's say you were using one of the scammed sources I mentioned before and made the character jump. Those sources have to use memory compression because they don't manage memory properly. When you jump, objects on that map have to be checked in memory for if they're within your screen. Decompressing that memory, especially while it's processing other requests, could easily add 500ms to your ping.

There's no point in you running a server if you don't know how to program, all servers out there with 'owners' or 'devs' that has no clue of programming are bound to fail.

Don't depend on others for code or 'whole server' that's extremely dumb. If I were you I'd pick a few books to learn how to program and start writing my own basic base and developing it. That's the fastest way to improve and learn and build a good strong server while you're at it. I wish someone gave me that advice back when I started over 10 years ago.

You're ignoring a lot of what I said. Paid services like that don't exist. If you look to purchase a server, then you'll get scammed. Your best / only option is to do it yourself. It's unfortunate and fortunate. Like Execution said... non-programmers shouldn't be running large servers anyways. This isn't Minecraft.

I don't mean to ignore you, I'm generally a guy that trying to work around of the problems...

lets say it clear, im not really interested to be Gamemaster i would prefer to be player...

My hope is some programmer says : hey dude im programming anyways a Server and your idea as a player is very important, i would appreciate your support. (dream)

Another last hope is: that i find people profissional devolpers telling me a project price, taking that serious like a real life work. And i pay this great project, i work just 1 month and i pay for it. WHEN i have this source in my hand... my only TASK is... to learn the basics and step by step... i can do events and more... and don't forget... there many people have interest to support lately when it's working live, i won't be alone. I'm sure 100%.

THATS the plan brooo im not ignoring you, the scammers are my only and last problem, i have to look who i trust and who not.... i want just to know for my deeply peace and motivation that the source is on work while im learning programming that I can get started.

and this game is beatuiful you can all time log in and have a good time for 5 minutes doing your market, or for 5 hours enjoying grinding and pvp.
It's a game that needs seriously creative based ideas.
Of course many will critic that's not classic I don't like it , fine go to the classic its not hard to find lol, nothing special either you will find in xtremetop100 only classic.
And the game is not about a friendly community, in this game everyone have to be free, the GM and all his personals have to be neutral and using the chat like a dictionary, no friendship you can't see you can't touch he won't talk to anyone as a friend, a neutral but most important role with consequent and fair attitude. :)

I will not host a server before im ready with learning programming, for sure not, but i can keep the source in my hands for my motivation, i learning and testing and later i go online with a perfect website. Pay in 5000 get 15.000 back in the years.

Make a forum thread: we have many programmers looking for ideas for the project, tell them your ideas in the comments, if a programmer support the idea absolute he will get revanged with support from the community person. And than after the hard work and waiting and supporting the server starts with an army of 50 people 5 guilds 5 sides and 500 newcomers, all pays off.

If I'm a developer making a classic server right now... and I read this thread I will say... wtf I'm doing lol the players have enough.... they want another things..
Not to be offense but the programmers mostly have no creative thinking because they aren't playing.

That's why make a new thread giving players and programmers a good connection.
Stop wasting much time of work for bullshit.

The reason why there are so many classic servers is because they all copy what's been successful. Developers here aren't following that trend, they created that trend. The fake developers you mention just copy paste. They don't even come close to the talent the real developers here have. I'm always blown aware when I see real programmers take up servers. So don't insult us by making blanket statements.

On that topic though, there are only 4 active developers I'm aware of in this community. There have been non-Classic server developers, but they left or work in private. Everyone I know are all busy with their own servers. I don't want you to get scammed, but your "dream" is not realistic to what this community can offer. It's almost disrespectful as well. People pour a year or more of their life into a server that they would want to play. I don't call that being out of touch or wasting time on bullshit, I call that being passionate. I honestly wish there were more people like that left.

Anyways... That about concludes my thoughts. I honestly don't think your ideas are really that interesting either besides class switching, but that could lead to some bad mechanic abuse issues. The rest could lead to inflation issues without proper sinks. I don't really understand the need for it all either. +1 Dragonball sounds like the wrong direction, but that's just my opinion. There's a lot more that I think Conquer is capable of.

(When) the dragonball +1 drops after (500k Kills)... everyone can see that in System Chat who and where, 5 trojans 2 fires 3rd reborn running in birdisland and searching that archer who picked that dragonball +1, now imagane the adrenaline of both sides... you never played the game in this way you just See it in objective thinking bro, i did play the game and i know this feeling is like killing RED names or being a RED name, you will see more Players playing serious they pking with reasons. Not like the classic Server lets go Matchs ss/FB for nothing just Kindergarten borring (who has better fpps and ping wins) ... borring man. The drops are very very important to make enemys and friends ... in classic the people changing sides to do balance.... in guildwars.. Lol , we need Players playing the game like egoists , like real life. And thats not happend in classic.

You will never try to hunt a +1 DB its just a very lucky drop, you will better spamm mets/dbs to get sockets, +1 db and met is just a very rare special random drop only with luckytime, so the action of provokation never ends pvp vs grinders, Players will revange Players getting RED/black Names by killing newbies and ruining plvling archer s their stacks, game full of war and action and your guild is your family in same time you are stack in this side for ever. Thats how the game is fun.

And the other thing is, every map is a leveling map exeption like meteorzone, you go in meteor Zone getting full meteor and dbs, someone has logged his fire and his guild mate is a watertao reviving and killing the archer getting all dragonballs and meteors .. that is conquer bro thats how it works... not like classic one drops a Db and no one cares, they tell you gratulation:) and you want enemys but everyone is nice to you. BORING.

The game have to be nature kind of conquering, "my Server" soon "our" is the best ever, aslong you didn't played you won't have a clue, some people have a good fantasy to realize what I say in thinking pictures, but not even close when you played this server,

Switching class has a reason my friend, the archer wants superman xp skill. Let's show you a nice combination of reborn, trojan - warrior warrior - archer so now type/switch your class is WarriorMaster, with a Bow lvl 130 and scatter.. now you kill 50 mobs with scatter (superman xp skill ) now you just plvl your newbies in basilisk or lab4 :) and you have only full 1 socket... but still can do something, in pvp aswell. And the rates in this server aren't easy, so you will still grind and grind and you will still have big balls if your trojan 3rd reborn facing a pay2play full 2 soc, just go kill 100 birds pop the xp skill superman and cyclone run to twin city 1x ss/FB and R.I.P .
The game is good for (donates and for free2players, the 1 soc and 2 soc and +9 is worth a lot real money or let's say time of grinding. It's the perfect balance everyone can enjoy the game. You have no time to play but sometimes pvp? Donate bro easy! You don't want pay money for games? Enjoy grinding bro have fun! It's the perfect balance for all, simply coz +1 db or +1 met if you was lucky even a donater will be close to your equipments. And yes we need donaters as we need the game online. And the people know that!!! This server if gets down is end of conquer. That's what I think, we need to pay the developers we need to support them they give us so much love we must give something back, and the generation in this game is 18+ years it's not about pay2win it's about supporting a private server is just online that you guys can enjoy finally few years...!
