Any way to attach a custom function/dll in shaiya game.exe ?

Hi, I'm not sure if I wrote the Thread headings right, sorry for my bad English.

I have no experience in shaiya development in general, I'm studying CSE at a university. So the thing is, the source code of shaiya isn't available, only the compiled exe files are there. Now if I want to write a function to let's say game.exe or add a dll there, anyone can give me some hints if it's possible?

Edit :: requesting close thread, i found some resources about this.

Yes its possible.
You will need to learn debugging / reversing and assembler at least. Recommended would
be to learn a high level langauge as well ( C++ is good for this stuff ).

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] ya I was looking into assembly and changing OEP and adding instruction with ollydb, have to say reverse engineering is a lot of work. But its very interesting too to know that we can manipulate exe to work as we want. I know c++ and java, but reverse engineering is completely new to me atm. Trying to do some things with C# for shaiya to get used to this language a bit in my free time occasionally.

Thought forum was dead, but I had good help from a member here a day ago about this problem. Tx a lot for the response guys.
