Stupid question but i am wondering what was first silkroad p server sjsro or ECSRO and who owned them, how they got the official filles etc?

ecSRO was owned by Ocean if I remember correctly. And as the above user said, MHTC was the first private server. There is a thread deep down in the archives somewhere explaining the story

But my question where they got the fille. They hacked csro or they was ex emploiers to csro ???
I remember mhtc server was totally in chinese only "??????' Was in client and even server name was with "??????"

The story is the following:
The first private server was MHTC, owned by a Chinese with ocean as his co-admin. The serverfiles were hacked from the original silkroad game.
Then there was ECSro. Ocean was the admin, but - many people don't know this - the MHTC owner was the one who had the control over the servers. Ocean could not start the servers himself as the MHTC owner was the only one with a working certification for the servers in order to start them. That is why ocean was still relying on the old MHTC owner.
The same counts for ZSZC. The MHTC owner was also the one who did the same thing for SWSro, which came after ZSZC.
In the end, the old MHTC owner is the one who was leading over all the servers. His admins from SWSro and ZSZC ( ocean ) were just doing all the work and had all the work and risk coming with it.
After ZSZC died, files got leaked and other p servers spread.
How I know there was only one "boss"? I worked for Ecsro as coder and GM and for ZSZC as admin from the beginning until the very end.
