Is this game still alive?

I remember I used to play for a while in this game, but it was like 5/6 years ago, is this game still alive? Many people play this? Is this worth to give it try?

There are probably less than 1000 active players on all SBRW servers combined, and that number is declining over time. Only a fraction of those active players do a lot of multi-player races, some of them do private races with friends.
