What is warpfire ?

Originally created by Gameforge in winter 2008 with the first version "Wapfire classic" come in same time with DarkOrbit, the both game share the same source code , both game are similar with own particularity and graphics style, buy ship, stuff, kill alien, do quest, a classic space shooter. Unlike DO, warpfire wasn't updated during 2 years before get closed and replaced by a new game "Warpfire turmalith wars", with a lot of change in gameplay and a new improved graphic style. Unfortelly, the game was closed in 2011, so i started to learn how to code and work on it since many years.

Now the game start to be playable and i still have some very old player who remember this game come to play on my project, it's still in demo/test version but playable.

Who work on the project ?
Only me, since the begining.

Wich technology/tool did you use ?
The client is in javascript and the server in php, fully portable on every support.

This project represent a big f****** huge work and it's really complex and long.

what happened?

i am really looking forward to see your project. Warpfire thurmalite wars was my favourite game. I want to be in alpha tests. Also, the website isn't working right now. I hope you find time to open it :)

hey what happened?

A lot of things, i encoutered a lot of IRL issue that give me serious difficulty, like file loss and one year without being able to dev.

I'm now back on the road as always, and still on it 15 years after the closing of the original game.

But now, we are on the IA era, so with freePik & Meshy, i managed to recreate 99% of the game asset, sounds & music included.

The game is running right now, 2 version are launched, the first demo released one year ago, and the new one (v2 demo) available for public testing.

Work on a game like this at full time (every day), require a lot of preparation, mainly getting enought money to save time.

So, i'm still on it, and i'll continue this project far as i can.
