Did you try Remote Desktop? I know that I have used it before for database access.

The MySQL database is not hosted publicly. Because your host is on a router he needs to edit his portfowarding before he sets it to his WAN IP. If he doesn't know about porting then he needs to contact his ISP.

Drop database, press in rar file = upload site (rapitshare, megaupload, boosterking)

Download on the other site? :bandit:

easy and simple...

or use filezillah

I am not sure I understand what you are trying to do. Perhaps if you explain what it is you want to do and what you are working with then more of us would be able to come to a solution.

Lol not like that.. I mean like Do you know how PhpMyAdmin work? if not, Its operated by using the internet. You basically download the file and put it in your website. Partners can go to the folder and login and use DB that way..

So the port forwarding is set and not working or you are unable to set the port to forward? If someone tried to connect using Navicat what error does it give?

Yep. It wouldn't allow us to connect.

just change your phpmyadmin config.inc.php..look for authentice..change the 'config' to 'http'..then give your fren the password and username for the mysql...don't forget to change it back to config when it's done..everyone know that username and password for the mysql are root and test (if not ANYONE CAN SEE U)..using navicat can't work without shell
