[Guide & Tutorial] How to make a Silkroad Private Server

Hi elitepvpers comunity!

Today im gonna show you how to make your own silkroad private server.
Before starting you need to know that the Emulator that we gonna use only 1 person can stand inside the server simultaneously. So lets start.

::What you need::

DSremu - [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] - Uploaded by me.

DSremu2 [UPDATED LINKS] - I use this now because this have more features and a richest database. - [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] 2 By vpegas1234.rar - uploaded by me again xD


Silkroad Client v1.154 - [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] - Link by IzEver (Thanks for that)


::Starting your server::

When you download the server files and the client, install the client and extract with winrar the server files (The database is "OK", the server is "OK" too, i prepare all for you.)

If you know what you are doing then you can change in the database, using the Microsoft Acess 2003 or 2007, but if ou use 2007 when you save, save as 2003 extension!!

Now in server folder i insert media patcher, start it and patch like this:

Location: Ex: (C:\Program Files\Silkroad\Media.pk2) [the media.pk2 must be inserted in the end of the path name]
Port: Dont change it
Ip: 127.0.0.1 (localhost)
Ip2: 127.0.0.1 (localhost)

Now click Patch and it will display a message, click Ok. Now the client is ready to connect to the server through your localhost ip.

::Changing Hosts File::

Go to this location: C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\etc then open the "hosts" file with notepad and insert these 2 lines at the end.
it must look like this:

Now save and close.

Now your server is ready!! Confratz. Go to your server folder and start D-SREMU v2.

Your server is now online, go to your client folder and start "Silkroad.exe" if the start button appears that means that your server is ONLINE!!

Now.. get the hell out of here and go play!!

Remember that only you can play in the server..


::FEATURES::

DSREMU1

[Monster]

Monster Don't Attack.
Monster Walk
Monster Kill
Monster Spawn (.spawn ID[List of Mobs into server files folder] Type[0=general, 1=Champion, 4=Giant.])


[Char]
multiplayer Dont work!!
combos work!
Only work ch skills
Heuksal %95
Bow %50
Blade %50
Skill is realy damage
Skils Dont use Mp
Pots really insert Hp/Mp
Auto Pot Work!
Cold Wave series - cold effect work
Nukes (some nukes dont work)


[NPCS]
you can spawn npc
you can talk to Npc (but if you buy something the game may crash)
".hotan" spawn all hotan npcs

".dowhang" spawn all dowhang npcs

".jangan" spawn all jangan npcs


DSREMU2

DSREMU2 have all DSREMU1 features but you can: Load transports and pets[i dont know right if pets crash the game but i spawn them and the game stills working]. (its nice xD)



::SOME ERROR'S FIXES::

Have ?????? Errors?

If u get this errors maybe a character is bugged, or you use a skil that isnt inserted in the database or that. Check multiple times the databases, the accounts files etc. if you do all i did you can stay in the server free and kill mobs without crash.

Type mismatch Error?

If you gonna spawn a monster you need to insert the type or it will give this error, the skil that you use cant be used or the character have much SP's, gold etc.

Why should I use this emulator when there is a C # emulator that is more advanced?

ANSWER: SO I USE THE BOTH OF THE EMULATORS MADED BY LYZERK BUT C# EMULATOR INST VERY STABLE, YOU KILL ON MOB THAT CRASHES!!!!!

I RECOMMEND D-SREMU BECAUSE I KILLED A 50 MONSTERS WITHOUT A CRASH!!!
USE IT!!

You can't call that a pserver then.

hmmm maybe use hamachi to make a multiplay "private server" lol..

So.. You need to check your accounts folder ( see the account infos, they may be bugged..)

or try this:

1-Mediapatch again
2-Check the hosts
3-If it continues giving error try to re-install the client.

If it continues again.. try to start over again but do exactly AS I DID it may work.

So .. ModGm is for help you spawning things in the server, like mobs, items, transports, pets and stuff.


Yes this version of Emu only works with v.150/1.154.

If you wanna mount a tiger or a horse or another animal i recommended use the DSREMU2. Use the gm account (id: gm, pass: gm) and with ModGm spawn a transport or use the horse that is in the iventory (Its bugged so you can use, dismount, and it stills in your bag xD

So for that you gonna ned to change in the database

Open the database of DSREMU2 with Microsoft Office Acess and go to the table "Monsters" Check the hp of your monster and change it.. but be carefull dont bug that xD i recommend make a database backup in the case of something crash or that...
