is it possible to use the more modern models in wow classic? i know you can use wod/legion and what not models even for the actual vanilla client. but classic client file structure is different. is it possible does anyone know?

One possibility would theoretically already exist, but changing the game files is not a trivial offence. Because of that you can be banned pretty fast.
