I used to use .Dat Files En-De Created By Alex to edit my itemtype.dat for my 5165 server. now it doesn't encrypt correctly for me anymore.

original coding B US>gIoDpOVlg.$ &*ޖe]G
now the beginning looks like this Bh<W gx`lؤы*>ݱ޻M
What program do you all use?

maybe someone could help me, i just want to edit celestialstone to 250 cps instead of 1000.

I've been using Finchi's program for years and never had any issues. I even used it a few days ago and it worked fine. Maybe you misused it.

I know that I cant decrypt itemtype.dat from newest versions and neither Armor.dbc or Weapon.dbc.
Which makes a pain in the <good word> to import the garments -.-

Everything is wrapped in LuaVM bytecode now.

Other .dbc files still convert. Only those wont. That's sad.

I was wrong. I misinterpreted the assembly around the file read. It appears they replaced the encryption algorithm with 3-Way. It's past midnight and I don't care about retail Conquer, so that's the most work I'll put into this. Just thought I'd issue a correction.
