Problem with client freezes

Recently i returned to the game to play just fw, but it is unplayable for me. Game freezes every 1-2 seconds during fw. There are freezes in town as well. All graphic setting are on low, friendly players are hidden.
OS is not lagging, it is just a sro client. I think there might be compatibility issues between outdated sro client and my hardware.

My pc:
Intel Core i5-4670k @3,4 GHz
8 GB RAM
gtx 760 2gb
windows 10

What about your storage device, HDD or SSD?

I have both and tried to run sro on both - Same issue.
Installed sro on my old laptop and it was running fine.
Laptop is on windows 7, 4gb ram, hdd, i5 M460 @ 2,5GHz, ATI Radeon HD 5650 1gb

I got pretty much the same specs
i7 3770
16GB DDR3 RAM
GTX 960 4GB
EVO 850 SSD
Windows 10

I don't think it's a compatibility issue, but I have no idea what it is. Stutterings are usually caused by slow random access time of your storage device but if it's happening even when it's installed to SSD than the problem is different.

Check task manager to see if your entire cpu or the cpu core the sro running on is hitting 100% or not. Other than that, update your graphic drivers. Make sure your power settings aren't set to low power consumption.

CPU is on 36-40%, memory 50%

Something similar happened to me during my last two visits.
The game did not freeze.
But FPS are dropping pretty hard from time to time.
Sometimes FPS go down from 100+ to 20 :D
Sometimes it even feels like the game is at 0 FPS for a split second.

I also had this issue a few month back. But it fixed itself after another relog.
My guess: Something is fcked up in the client.

Same thing happened to me, after Windows 10 updates.

My specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
GTX 1070
DDR4 16 GB RAM
Samsung NVMe SSD 500 GB

Putting the gamefolder on another drive: HDD/SDD/NVMe SSD/USB-Drive didnt help either.

I reinstalled W10. It went good for while, but after 1 month and several new W10 updates the game started to freeze every ~3 seconds for 1 second again. That is really annoying and the game unplayable. I couldnt figure out, how Windows plays a role in that. I tried everything in the exe settings from the client (compatibility) and with and without bot.

Since I couldnt find a solution and I dont want to reinstall windows again, I left the game.

I once saw a guy with a GTX 1080 Ti on the Nvidia-Forum have the same issues with Silkroad Online.
