risks of running bots?

Evening all.

so as it stands, September last year was the last time i played properly. As it stood i fell foul of a bad bot and my account got raided first off, i don't mind losing the items as i got my account back. But after that my pc died on me, I've just got a laptop that can run GW again.

i'm just getting into it with the changes ect.

I've been hearing about a bot nuke, thankfully my account was still active.

Now the thing is, how does it lay with running bots now?

Is it better to stop while i am ahead ect?

There is always a risk of a ban. Gw is quite dead as far as policing goes looking at the RMT spam in kamadan. What you can do to minimize it is run bot accounts on separate hardware, ip addresses, and purchase method so if one gets nuked it doesn't take your main account down.

The bots themselves have plenty of things you can do to minimize ban chances. Change districts, random paths, switch up farms at times, random breaks, human farmer level of time running, private bots, non public farms, and the list goes on.
