Mounts

Hi, I’ve been having some trouble with adding effects to mounts. I’ve added the data to the effectdata, the effect information to the effectscene, modeleffect etc. Basically I’ve aproached the effects the same way you would do weapon effects. Now when I spawn the mount there is a little effect (some vague blue stuff: its consistent with every mount spawn.) I haven’t been able to isolate this effect though, but I guess this would lead me into the right direction to adding proper effects to mounts like the red phoenix. Right now it’s just an ugly bird. My question is am I missing something or does the exe need to be edited in some way to make this work. Greetings🕶

Not sure what Action/Client you're using but I was unsuccessful at adding mount effects to Action 2/3 for about 6 months until I gave up. I thought it was impossible but a friend told me that anything dealing with effects is possible because it doesn't involve editing exe or dll files.

Well of course it is on an Action 9 server. I think we're having the problem on Action 2.

It is possible with any action, it is only a matter of playing a little with the effectdata.

can someone teach me how to apply effects, i have already effects in effectdata and effectscene but i don't know how to apply in modeleffect, please reply asap.
