Downloading the zipped files. It took a while to navigate that weird cloud download thing. I wonder how difficult it would be to just brute force the archive password?

It only says you need to brute-force AES256, not that you can't crack it. cRARk uses dictionary attacks only. The file is too big for a hashcat's 7z crack.

Getting cracked up to 5-letter-long passwords took me about 40 mins with GF 1060. And it was only ASCII characters, and 99% sure they've put these Chinese characters as well.

As said, not looking to find a vulnerability in the algorithm of AES, just looking to brute force. Didn't bother with the download when I saw the size and I didn't think about the possibility of non ASCII. Would take centuries.

Curiosity wouldn't drive me to compute a dictionary attack until the end of the earth.
