I need a DDS converter for win7!!!

hey guys,
i have win 7 ultimate and i cant convert dds with DXTBmp or DDS Converter 2,
it dont work right on win7 -.-

can anyone post a dds converter that works on win7, pls?

i do, but i cant open dds files with cs4+dds plugin

and imageconverter+ works great on win 7 :handsdown:

that's because the dds plugin doesn't work on 64bit photoshop and when you install the dds plugin it only installs it for the 64bit photoshop.

Open c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 bit)\Plugins\Extensions\ and copy the file dds.8bi

Then paste that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Plugins\Extensions\

Now open Photoshop 32bit version and click and drag the dds file you want to edit into Photoshop.

both nvidia-photoshop and irfanview dds plugins work fine on my win 7 proffesional machine's

His problem was he has CS4 installed, so he must use the solution I posted above.

Sometimes im enjoying a little problem in Photoshop if you got several Stages you cannot save them as DDS ... So i got GIMP with DDS Plug in and Photoshop 7 ...

Solution for it ... Save as HIGHEST Quality BMP after that Convert to DDS ...
BUT ONLY IF YOU CANNOT SAVE IT DIRECTLY !!!
