Server for the goodness (Charity)

• I started playing SRO at 2006 i believe, it was my very first game i play on PC. Its funny that the game still running till the moment, with all various servers, there's no server hits the nostalgia of SRO and remind me of the golden SRO era (2006~2009).
  
  
• I remember playing EliteSRO which was one of the best private servers i have ever played (Published at 2011) it was 10th degree with both races enabled. The game was very decent and delightful.
  
  
• And since 99.99% of the private servers are made to milk the players out of their money. I have a weird interesting idea. I'm thinking of bringing back EliteSRO with all its memories, but this time it will be different. The server will be based on charity, means? After paying for the host, protection, etc.. all the extra money will be sent to a certain charity organization which we will choose together. About the trustfulness, we can pick a trusted middle man from EPVP to be a volunteered economist. So he can handle all the money issues. Also there will be a donation tab on the website with the names and money amount of all donators as appreciation and for the transparency between admins and the players.
  
  
• P.S the idea might look naive, but i'm pretty sure there will be so many supportive players, specially when they get to know that all the money they're spending are not going for some greedy server owner. You will get entertained and help someone with your donation.

It's like 95% without counting re-opens and "new seasons".

I'ts a good start but the idea needs work, like what kind charity? Also, the server system have huge importance.. I think spent money is not the problem as any game out there, but when the server with your money has gone.. then the problem that you are talking appears.

As tiny recommendation, change the unique spawn points every three months or less.. All servers should do that, because why not? :)

The idea is good and can maybe be implemented somehow. But I'm actually just commenting on this because of your way in proposing your idea by trash talking the community which you are a part of.

I'm not proud. This community is trash because of its legality.

First of all it takes a lot of time to manage the server, serve the players etc. so you won't be able to have a full time job when you're managing a server, so you should take part of the money to live.

Other than that, I think no one will believe that the money goes to charity, even if you provide them bank statement they still won't believe.

I know because on all my servers starting from 2013 to 2017 I donated 10% of my income from the server to UNICEF but no one believed it.

I suggested a mod from epvp to be the financial holder.
