Classic 115 Server Suggestions

Hi everyone!,
Wanted to make this thread on epvp to see everyone's thoughts, ideas and such. Hopefully rohans still alive, I know their are still other servers out but this thread does not direct to any other server or trying to copy any server. We are planning to release a server shortly and would love to hear everyone's input.

Now lets get to the point... I was wondering what would you guys love to see on a Classic 115 (possibly higher cap) Server. As far as balance, features, rates, skills, damage, health, what should be in a server, what should be removed from a server, missing or unused maps; whatever you have in mind that you guys would like to see in a server if you were a player. All input and suggestions are available i'd like to hear everyone's comments on what they think and i'll gladly try and answer everyone. All negativity will be left aside. Thanks

It depends what you mean by a "classic" server.

There's only a handful of people who are still interested in a classic style server now. Most of the population are chasing new features, even if they are broken or reside on servers that can be exploited.

It's all about content now unfortunately.

well its been what, 6 years since pservers started popping up in hundreds? no wonder ppl are fed up with the 'classic' stuff :handsdown:

Well the idea or point by classic we mean is a classic server with a cap level of 115(+more if we decide). It could possibly start off no H2/H3 or with H2/H3 but only certain skills pulled from each H2/H3 skill tree for balance. The main focus would be balance for the server ofcourse but, all the "new content" you explained would be added as an addition or update to the game as new content to use. But the new content will be added to a certain extent with only the knowledge and files that we have and know. It would just be a build your way up type of thing but with our own twist to the server, but as said we're looking for ideas and suggestions to just fill out what the community likes now a days and misses so we can visualize what could possibly be put together. You think people don't miss vanilla servers anymore? Or ? We just want to be different then everyone else u know.

Yeah seems true, I do feel people are starting to lead more to the futuristic and high overpowered dmg/hp servers now with trinity and everything else, but then i always get those players who miss just the basic vanilla or classic servers with minimal changes and old gameplay so im just curious what everyone has to say.

I'd play 115 lvl glacial server like there was couple years back. New ones suck

Don't get me wrong the classic servers are the best and I much prefer to work on older files but you'll struggle with population without "modern" features. Like them or not you need plenty of Indo in your server to keep it going and it's newer stuff they tend to gravitate to.

Agreed. Seems indo population taking over rohan pservers slowly. All the main players seem to have quit or veered off onto something else. We'll see what we can do.
