New but obsolete? This way requires too much work and time, making a proxy this days having tons of tools for that sounds much better...

I could probably use this and implement a key presser with a custom window so that people can choose which keys to press and when they press start that bot just randomly attacks monsters while key presser uses the skills.

This actually sounds too good.

At this way sounds useful (auto selecting near mobs) but about auto attack and everything else sounds like reinventing the wheel using ASM.

It is reinventing the wheel, for sure. I don't think having a bot that's no better than a keypresser is valuable here. But having this will allow making more changes Iike a better ingame pet filter or a way to transfer multiple items from your pet to inventory, etc.

You can already do this externally. In my opinion, doing that internally is the better choice as you don't need to mess with external tools (especially if you are planning to use it as a server owner).

You've just opened another gate for silkroad development. I'll probably depend on this in lots of ideas that came across my mind.

Keep it up!

Very good idea, and it will be better if you added a little [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] around, And for your known problem you can Detour OnPacketRecv and Check if the character spawned if so allow the user to start the bot by a ImGui button, and this is also will help you to know what skills are available to attack with, And try to use [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] as much as possible it will make your life easier then getting into really low level things such as asm and memcpy everywhere!

But yeah still good job at the end, Keep going!

Have a Nice Life!
