xmas quests

anyone figure out how to do them? like wher you get coal or termites or candy cane shards?
ill make a quick list sofar of what i know and will add to it soon.
You get the quests from Old Nikoles in Lions Arch
Joy is in Lions Arch along with scrappy
Coal- Next to Scribe in Ascalon
Pipe- King Jalis in Droks.
Hat- Magi Malaquire in Lions Arch
unconfirmed:
unwash socks hot springs
gunk south of toa follow road sw
termites east of ascalon settlement on beach fisherman
garlic north of bettletun

Ok... the Dwaynas Quest is (like mentioned) the following:

(yes, allready been stated... i'm just doing a step to step guide for it)

1. Speak to: Old Nikoles in Lions Arch, close to the Guild Registrar
2. Speak to: Joy (next to the Henchmen)
3. Speak to: Scrappy (close to the Beach)
4. Beam to Ascalon
5. Speak to: Kyle (next to Symon the Scribe, you can find him when you're taking the stairs and head left from Tydus)
6. Beam to Droknar's Forge
7. Speak to: King Jalis. He is standing on that strange triangle inbetween two bridges above the Trade District (close to the Glint Statue)
8. Beam to Lion's Arch
9. Speak to: Magi Malaquire (The NPC you also got the first Signet of Capture from, standing atop a hill)
10. Speak to: Scrappy (still at the place he was last time)
11. Beam to Beetletun.
12. Form a party or head out solo (expect some heavy health degen and enchantment removal, accompanied with some heavy healing from Genths Balance - but no interrupts)
13. Head the way your Quest Marker points (as if you'd be heading for the North Kryta Province to farm Ettins)
14. Speak to Scrappy, watch Freezie getting born
15. Take out some waves of enemies
16. Claim reward

Don't bother with the Grenth's Quest yet, it is bugged and can't be completed as of now.


About the other Christmas Items though...

Candy Cane Shards drop basically everywhere, so your best bet would be to farm where lots of mobs are. And the best thing... noobs buy those for about 1 platin each.

The other Christmas Items you can get are basically the "farm x, exchange x for z" type of Quests.

So far i've been farming Gates of Kryta (see the Oink Oink Stickie) and got myself lots of decayed orr emblems (which you can exchange for christmas items) and candy cane shards (which you can exchange for christmas weapons or scam some newbies with).

11. Beam to Beetletun.
i did it staying in lions arch and just walking to nebo

as for shards they drop outside of ascalon and gargoyle skulls are easy to get and you only need one to get the christmis ojects.

The game has thousands of possibilities to do something... so it is no big surprise that you did it in another way.


Anyways, just for the sake of completeness, here is the Grenth Quest:

1. Get the Quest from Nikoles (Lion's Arch)
2. Speak with Vehemus (Lion's Arch)
3. Leave the city to the north and head to the beach, speak with the fisher there (North Kryta Province)
4. Beam to the temple of Ages and head Southeast, you will find a Gunk Farmer there
5. Beam to Beetletun, leave towards the Watchtower Coast.
6. Head towards the beach again and help the Necromancer win the battle.
7. Beam to Bergen Hot Springs and leave the town, speak to the villager and then run after Drei (no enemies this time, easy running)
8. Beam to Lion's Arch and speak with Vehemus
9. Leave the town to the north again, speak with Vehemus one more time
10. Head to the Ascalon Settlement to the North (Remember Captain Greywind?)
11. Fight against the Brrls and destroy the presents (simply pick them up)
12. Claim your reward.

Christmas Collectors:
Spiked Eggnog has simliar effects to other "alcoholic beverages" in the game
Winter gift spawns items rarely includeing Candy Cane Shards(unconfirmed), lumps of charchol(confirmed)
Snowman Summoner is self explanitory
Candy Cane removes DP
ill add more later if i get bored
